Parables of Jesus – Kingdom of Heaven

Posted on by

Jesus Christ began his ministry preaching “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” He went on talking about the kingdom of heaven through parables. Jesus likened the kingdom of heaven to a man who sowed good seed in the field. Sit back, relax and watch the parable of the sower and its interpretation play out through this short cartoon. Jesus said “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field.” Jesus also said that “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about   Read more…

Balaam was famous because whoever he blessed was blessed and whoever he cursed was cursed. So he sent for Balaam to curse the Israelites in return for a generous amount of money. God told Balaam not to curse the Israelites, but Balaak was persistent. Balaam wanted to go, so God let him on the condition that Balaam does what God says. When David and Bathsheba’s son died, God was merciful and gave them another baby, whom they named Solomon. David promised Bathsheba that Solomon would become king after him. When David was very old, Adonijah wanted to become king, so he plotted with Joab and Abiathar the priest and had himself declared king. Adonijah then sacrificed sheep, cattle and fattened calves at the Stone of Zoheleth near En Rogel. He invited all his brothers, the king’s sons, and all the royal officials of Judah, but he did not invite Nathan the prophet or Benaiah or the special guard or his brother Solomon. 1 King 1:9-10 Nathan informed Bathsheba   Read more…
